Diamond Looking Glass

Picture a nighttime scene from your hotel room in Nice. The lights along the Bay of Angels turn the Mediterranean into a looking glass. And, framed by candlelight, you sit at your window to admire. You make a pretty scene yourself, in lingerie of deepest navy blue from Jane’s Vanity.

“Nice is my country,” wrote 19th century Russian artist and diarist Marie Bushkirtseff of this French city on the Côte d’Azur. She describes the Bay’s necklace of lights as “a fish with diamond scales.” Her candle-lit view so lovely that “I ask for nothing more.”

Emma Harris conjures the sparkling night with her Elsa Navy Silk Pajama Set, lingerie set, and Robe. Create a balcony moment in the lace-accented racerback top and graceful trouser that flirt beneath the lavishly trimmed kimono.

Lise Charmel further embellishes navy with her Sublime a Deux Halter Lingerie Set. Ivory and white scrollery make this set too pretty to hide. Splash out for the versatile matching Silk Trouser, too. Wear them all together everywhere. Or, surrender to Charmel’s Fete de Venise Lingerie Set. A little work of art in navy blue which alternates a bespoke floral print with sheer mesh panels. All appliqued in colors that emulate the Venetian carnival.

Imagine a sensuous slip dress in navy silk. JV offers beautiful iterations. Vannina Vespirini’s Ocean Silk Slip Dress is midi-length, hitting around mid-calf. Perhaps the basis of your fall wardrobe. Morpho + Luna’s Night Silk Gown of sandwashed silk is that special piece that makes your travel wardrobe complete. Olivia Von Halle’s Perminova Navy Silk Gown has a plunging draped back with cross-over straps. A perfect complement to its exquisite silk train. And to your ability to make an entrance wherever you go.
