The Three Graces

In mythology and art, The Three Graces represent beauty, youth, mirth, and elegance. Picture three sisters, in a group hug, clad in the most sensuous of garments. Is it any wonder that we feel like goddesses ourselves, when attired in JV’s latest offerings of three?

The Japanese house of Aromatique has created a perfect Rib Silk Camisole in a choice of three colors: gold, blue and black. Each embraces us like a cocoon, with a knit that molds us into beautiful posture–suitable for sculpting, frescoing, or framing.

Emma Harris makes our lives graceful with an instinct for tailoring silk. Her shapes accent our curves, her color choices make our hearts dance. Create a combination of three matching pieces (Lingerie Set, Chemise/Slip, and Coverup) in such colorways as Vintage Rose (dusty pink), Raspberry (fuchsia), or Orchid (pale purple).  All are embellished with sparkling lace appliqué.

French label Emma Ducci creates three ways to wear a Mediterranean vine print of blue and red on white. Simplify your vacation with the midi-length Santorini Silk Shirtdress, the short Santorini Kaftan, or the handkerchief-top and slim trousers of her Santorini Silk Set. The handkerchief top is reversible to a solid deep blue.

The Three Graces, Eurphrosyne, Aglaia, and Thalia, would look well frolicking together in the lace-embellished black mesh designs of Hervé by Céline Marie. One will wear the Orunée Bodysuit, one the Viéve High-Neck Bralette Set, and one the Phelea Plunge Lingerie Set.

Rare compositions from Jane’s Vanity, like The Three Graces themselves, personify the art of feminine charm.
