My Life in Prints

Jane’s Vanity prints are unique, never to be repeated. Each of mine recalls a special moment. Sometimes I think, wistfully, of a print that got away. This season I will make up for it, with amazing new JV patterns that promise to illustrate my life.

Memories are made by Karma on the Rocks with their first prints for JV. Their sensuously soft cotton is available in the orange floral Tokyo Aka Cotton Pajama and Kobe Robe. Both are trimmed with chevrons of purple, orange, and blue. Lightweight blue silk crepe de chine is patterned with yellow cranes to create a sweet summer Edo Crane slip and rollicking Tokyo Crane pajama (the latter is trimmed with a contrasting yellow floral).

Emma Ducci’s new print silk lounging sets took inspiration from the Mediterranean look of a print silk scarf worn casually as a beach bandeau. Ducci’s sets, in Pondicherry Paisley, or Santorini blue and red vine on white, have a reversible top that flips to a solid silk. Little charms are sewn into the corners. Matching trousers are the essence of cool. These adorable sets are made for vacation selfies.

If you love the Santorini print, you could also have it in a short Silk Kaftan or a Silk Shirt Dress that unbuttons to wear as a duster (this dress is going fast). These two pieces would be a complete travel wardrobe, to be worn in many ways, with just the addition of lacy JV chemises and camisole sets.

Speaking of lace, it is also one-of-a-kind, also a vessel for remembering adventures, loves, travels. I am grateful for these JV special pieces, both patterned and lacy, that always tell my story.
