A Travel Panorama
Before a trip, a quick review of the website offers a reminder of what you’ll need to bring along: skivvies, loungewear, accessories, and apparel. And each carefully composed photo is a lesson in putting it all together. Be sure to view the “Lookbooks,” too. They are created with love by JV colleague and collaborator Emily Tate.
The Lingerie Section nudges you to be daring and fun-loving in your choice of a first layer (it sets the tone). The Loungewear Section is a cavalcade of versatile silk separates that do double-duty, at home or abroad. The Accessories and Apparel Sections show how to simplify your travel with just a few well-curated looks.
And the images (both individual and Lookbook) remind you to build your wardrobe over a period of time. The JV team selects not only for the season, but also with reference to what has come before. New colors blend into your wardrobe, new styles give your core items added fizz.
Imagine a holiday suitcase filled with just your favorites in four categories: For lingerie: the hand-painted Paeonia Set from Karolina Laskowska. For loungewear into streetwear: the Lili Midi Slip Dress and fringy High Society Robe from Gilda & Pearl. And for apparel: Emma Ducci’s beachy Pondicherry Silk Set, accompanied by pearl earrings from Gisel B.
As you browse the website, check the blog too, for lots of information and imagined scenarios. We’re looking out for you!
We at Jane’s Vanity see the world as a most exquisite panorama.
