Daring in Reykjavik
Stark and striking, Reykjavik is full of young people. Attire? Anything goes, emphasis on color and creativity. Think Aurora Borealis. Window-shopping is a must. For that, my favorite display was leggings with all-over photo images of puffins--set off by gold lame hot pants. It is easy to get into this swingy mood. For a long layover? Pack your most dramatic pieces from Jane’s Vanity.
Join the party on Hiemur Square at the bistro called Skal!. Here an extremely merry lunch crowd toasts each other over plates of Arctic char and mashed potatoes. Count out your krona wearing Zynni’s Goldenrod Plisse Cashmere Maxi Skirt.
Evening comes quickly in autumn. Let the flicker of candles invite you to dinner. Unbutton your new Icelandic sweater to reveal Cadolle’s black lace Coeur Bodysuit. Later, warm things up the in Loveday London’s Le Rouge Teddy.
Next morning, there’s no time to spare as you race to the airport. Just toss a trench coat over your Lila Havana pajamas from Olivia Von Halle in amazing tropical print. Bon Voyage from Jane’s Vanity!
