"Casablanca"

Get that "Casablanca" feeling, when you slip into something glamorous from Jane's Vanity. In Old Hollywood style, you suddenly inhabit a world of intrigue, dinner jackets, and champagne cocktails. One in which you might sell your jewels to pay for the night flight. Or belt out La Marseillaise. Or brave bittersweet love. All while dressed in a column of silk or sheer mousseline.

New gowns from Layalina set the scene. Sway into Rick's Café Américain wearing the Alexandra Golden Gown of lush Italian silk. The pleated triangles at bust give way to an insert of Calais lace that trails down the back of the skirt. Doubled thin silk spaghetti straps criss-cross the very low back.

The Assiyah Silk Muslin Gown and Robe in black would see you through a flashback to Paris. The gown's sheer lace bust and transparent body are offset by the lovely drape and lace appliqués of the Robe. Well you might ask yout date, "A franc for your thoughts."

Gilda & Pearl keep the plot interesting with their Champagne in Venice Dress. Play the femme fatale in its sheer white net with marabou trim. To whisper at Rick's bar, wear the Silver Screen Kitty Slip underneath. To say a fond farewell in private, wear it bare.

When you are in the mood for big screen romance, JV thinks, like Bogie, "...this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!"
