What Happens in Vegas

All summer, girlfriends were slipping off to Las Vegas. Not to gamble, but to dance. Part of the allure was to plan a weekend wardrobe designed for afternoons by the pool and late nights on the dance floor of Sphere, a multi-media dome. Jane’s Vanity happened in Vegas!

JV was up to the challenge of selecting carefree clothing that is heat-friendly and fun. It may look easy now, but is all part of the Jane’s Vanity yearly cycle of scouting and acquiring such desirable items. During last winter’s buying trips, the JV team fell in love with the Mediterranean-sparked loungewear of Karma on the Rocks. This design house, new to JV, offers high quality silks and cottons, in happy print combinations, styled into flowing pajamas, robes, and slips. Just in, their luscious Hanabi Collection in deep purple and the Mozaicu Collection in aqua blue. What could be better for the desert life?

JV also searched for a kaftan to wear over a swimsuit by the pool or with jeans for lunch. Emma Ducci, also new to JV, offered a short version, the Santorini Silk Kaftan in a folkloric vine print of reds and blues on white. JV pounced.

Finally, dancers need a floaty dress or two. Zoelle to the rescue with wrinkle-free permanent pleats in an assortment of styles. The spaghetti-strap Malachite Butterfly Empire Dress just sweeps the floor with its lightweight chiffon in an intricate print. The Malachite Butterfly Reversible Top and Wrap Skirt invite a breeze, and the Reversible Malachite Butterfly Hi-Low Dress shows a little leg.

Wherever your next event, JV will be there. What happens in Venice…
