Sweets for the Sweet
On the street in Paris, the JV crew saw a winter triumvirate of chunky black boots, fishnets, and hot pants (or, hey, scuba shorts). Inside the annual Salon International de la Lingerie, they felt the energy and excitement of color: limes and chartreuses; caffé au laits and beiges; stripes of powder pink and red. For summer, cooling prints celebrated a mix of patterns from around the Mediterranean.
In London, Jane and Emily collaborated with favorite vendors, then attended the launch of the Wonderland tradeshow of intimate apparel in Soho. Here they discovered new essential accessory lines and met with young designers. The result of this whirlwind tour will be lots of sweet new shipments. Such as…
Aromatique Japan: Meticulous workmanship is the hallmark of their fabulous rib-knit silk camisoles, soon available in coffee, navy, and black.
Emma Ducci: Based in the South of France, this French designer of Italian origin creates light and unforgettable lounging sets and dusters in sun-kissed floral patterns.
Karma on the Rocks: Two friends, both industry insiders, bring their international backgrounds to a cocktail mix of playful pajamas, kimonos, and kaftans that work all day.
Pierre Mantoux: Feel the embrace of the finest hosiery from Milan.
Temperley London: Be ready for Alice Temperley’s English-y loungewear in iconic prints.
Plus, we can’t wait for new offerings from JV friends at Vannina Vespirini, Emma Harris, Karolina Laskowska, Herve by Celine Marie (including a collaboration with Merle Noir), Gilda & Pearl, and Layalina.
Our noses pressed to the glass, we contemplate a new season of carefully selected treats from Jane’s Vanity.
