Perhaps by staying home, we would miss the thrill of a real spa’s liveried driver holding up our name on a placard at the airport. Fun, but fleeting. The reality would be better: our name on a box from JV, delivered to our door. It’s our spa kit!

The box might contain the Karma on the Rocks Kazari Aqua King Pillowcases in burgundy red silk charmeuse, printed with gingko leaves in shades of teal. Our bed will look stunning. Next, we’ll enjoy unpacking delights from scent label Voyage et Cie. Although these items would make excellent gifts, this time they are for ourselves. To light a scented candle is just the beginning.
