Pinks All in a Row

This spring, decorate yourself and your closet with shades of pink. How lovely to see them all lined up, from light to dark. Jane’s Vanity curates your pinks.

To get into the pink frame of mind, one might begin by studying the Gallery restaurant at Sketch in London, considered the most Instagrammable restaurant in town. Accented by a zigzag marble floor, the walls and furniture are “a pink that is the essence of pink.” It is the work of architect and designer India Mahdavi. In a delightful profile of Mahdavi in The New Yorker, a blogger is quoted as noting that the Gallery is “a basic betch holy site.” Many visitors to the room have dressed to match. Shall we join them?

The lineup begins with the pale pink floral Leavers lace of Gilda & Pearl’s Gilded Macaron Lingerie Set. The shapely underwire bra features cups of sheer lace lined with mesh. The sleek brief is trimmed to match.

Blush pink comes next, with Gilda & Pearl’s Salon Privee Silk Slip. Its stretchy fit follows your every curve. Short and sweet, its glamour is accentuated by shimmering metallic French lace at cups.

Marjolaine steps in with a breathtaking shade of lavender pink for the Hyacinth Silk Pajama Set. Smoke-colored appliques accent the camisole’s bust and decorate the pants at waist and hem.

We pause for springy pink with Gilda & Pearl’s Fleuriste Lingerie Set. Tiny embroidered flowers add depth to pale pink tulle in shades of gold, pink, teal, red, blue, and purple.

The penultimate pink is the floral print of Violet & Wren’s Catkin A-Line Slip. Its trapeze shape and racerback give it swing. Its fabulous pink on pink flowers gives it heart.

Bold black panthers accent dusty pink for our finale: Olivia Von Halle’s Lila Diablo Silk Pajamas. A little Art Deco and a lot of fun.

From pale to panther, JV composes a pink story--and makes it memorable. What will be yours? As India Mahdavi recalls, "The color of my childhood was strawberry milkshake."
