Included in this update are several brands that are new to Jane’s Vanity. Below is an introduction to each of them, as well as the women who are at the helm.
Camille Roucher
Easily one of the most luxurious brands we’ve discovered in years, Camille Roucher is an eponymous line from a young designer based in Paris. Her pieces are unique spins on classical styles, and each utilizes the finest in silks and laces for truly couture-quality collectors pieces. Designed for beauty rather than workhouse functionality, Camille stands out from the mainstream lingerie industry in just the right way. Founded in 2014, each collection she creates is more decadent than the last.
Loveday London
Loveday London was founded in 2014, but we’ve been acquainted with its designer, Luisa, for far longer than that. Luisa spent a number of years learning the ins and outs of the lingerie industry as brand developer for several high-profile brands before taking the plunge and launching her own line. And what a line it is! Loveday London’s tagline is “hardcore romance”, and each collection takes this theme to heart, incorporating butter-soft leathers with the more traditional lingerie trappings of silk and lace. Easily styleable as outerwear, her designs are strong, feminine, and seductive.
Rossell England
Jo Rossell paired her extensive background in couture fashion design with her own desire for an elegant option in natural-fiber intimates in the creation of her eponymous line, Rossell England. Her collection fills an important niche, sought after by those who wish to only wear organic, sustainable materials. Her refined design experience is readily apparent in the thoughtful construction of her bralettes, using seaming and side boning to create supportive, structured non-underwired bras that offer a beautifully rounded (not smashed) shape. The highest quality cottons and silks are used in her designs, offering a breathable lingerie option that feels great on the skin regardless of the temperature.
