Flirting is Forever

Flirting makes life worthwhile. It can come in many forms. Just like the JV lingerie we take pleasure in choosing each day.

What is flirting? No dictionary needed. It means paying (and playing) attention to someone else. Saying something nice, making a joke, leaving them smiling. It is fun to flirt with everyone and everything. And they flirt back, mostly. It’s a game that anyone can play, as Jane’s Vanity well knows. Here are a few JV flirting suggestions.

Flirting on the elevator in your building: You have to be quick, unless you live in the Penthouse. So break the ice with a little compliment. And plan to be wearing that little extra something that will be noticed. Make it one of the eye-catching new Isa Tama Silk Pajamas from Karma on the Rocks in prints of Coral or Blue. Just the thing for a trip to the mailroom.

Flirting with infant and toddler family members: You can spend all day flirting not only with your own progeny, but also with nieces, nephews, grandchildren, etc. Give them your total attention. Let them show you their toys. Read them a picture book and talk about all of the illustrations. Create a lap with one of D2Line’s pretty wide-leg pants in choice of Petunia Floral or the Petunia Paintbrush.

Flirting at a party: Circulate! Because eventually you will meet that person whom you noticed at first glance. Look eye-catching yourself in one of Zambak’s leather-on-net tops. Choose the Flat Leaf or the alluring Rosalinda.

Flirting with a friendly pet: Talking to pets is excellent practice for flirting. You don’t have to make sense, you don’t need to get dressed. Just wear your new Sicily Paisley Linen Pajama set from Derek Rose.

Zen Flirting: This means non-verbal flirting, preferably with someone you love. Proximity is good, but not essential. Across the breakfast table works too. May we suggest that you wear something Layalina, perhaps the Noor Babydoll, in your choice of Cherry Red or Aubergine?

Jane’s Vanity wishes you happy flirting, day in day out, wearing a little or a lot, thinking of others always.
