This season, kitten heels are prowling the fashion runways. Look for all manner of plain and fancy sling-backs, booties, and pumps. So flattering with a skirt that floats around the knee. The look suggests long legs. And encourages a carefree walk. Which reminds us, are we well-stocked with kicky hosiery from Jane’s Vanity? 

A kitten is perfect with the Liberty Black Wool Skirt from Dana Pisarra. This skirt was our coup last winter. There are still a few left. Its enchanting knee-length boasts a lace insert at front and just begs for pretty stockings. Which JV happily provides. For after-dark, it’s Falke’s Magic Evening Tights in choice of gold or silver sparkles. For daytime, Falke’s simple Diamond 10 Stay-ups give a long smooth line.

In winter, under a stylish short coat and booties, we want our legs wrapped in a bit of texture and color. Falke’s Cream Cable tight protects us with 71% wool in choice of black, hazel (tan), or mistletoe (green). The 3D knit provides a cabled effect on the legs, but is smooth through the body for ease in layering.
